Travel/Awards/Changing Sports/Fees

These are WIAA eligibility rules:

TRAVEL

A. Team members must use the mode of transportation provided by the school to reach the site of the contest. Team members must also return to school via the same mode of transportation unless parents request to take the student-athlete home in their private vehicle. Said request must be in writing in advance of the event or in person the day of the event. Only the legal guardian/parent will be given this perogative.
B. It is expected that the students will conduct themselves in an appropriate manner on school sponsored trips. It is important that all our students understand that they represent their schools to the general public.

AWARDS/RECOGNITION
A student athlete suspended due to a code violation willbe ineligible to receive individual awards such as captain, MVP, or all conference. If the student does not finish the season in good standing, they are ineligible for all awards.

CHANGING SPORTS/PARTICIPATION
A. An athlete may not quit one sport and begin another during the same season except by agreement of the coaches involved and/or the Activities Director.
B. Must follow WIAA rules - cannot delay reporting to start of season to continue with
out-of-school sport.
C. If team selections are involved, student must report at start of season. If no try-outs are involved, student must report within two weeks of the season start unless given administrative approval.

FEES
Fees are non-refundable unless a player is not selected for a team at the beginning of such season. You must contact the athletic department to receive your refund.
