Local Scholarships


There are some local scholarships offered that are not part of our VAHS Scholarship Night in April. 

  • 2024 Italian American Women's Club Of Madison
    The scholarship is open to all seniors intending to enroll in a post-secondary program after high school. Applicants must be interested in Italian culture, but need not be Italian to apply. The scholarship will be in the amount of two payments of $500. The application must be postmarked by April 10th, 2024 in order to be considered.
    Applications can be picked up in the 3rd floor North Satellite Office. 

  • The Dream Pool Foundation, Inc. is awarding one $5,000 scholarship, Two $2,000 scholarships, and three $1,000 scholarships. Applicants must be enrolled as an Art Major at an accredited institution of her education in the US (this includes Art Therapy programs).

  • The Wisconsin Towns Association, Rural Mutual Insurance Company, and Scott Construction, Inc. will be awarding $7,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors who plan to enroll in a public or private university or college in Wisconsin in 2024. Winners will be determined by independent judging of an essay addressing the topic "What strategies can be implemented by town officials in collaboration with citizens to maintain civility in local government?". 
    Essays must be postmarked by May 24, 2024. Application materials are available in the 3rd floor North Satellite office. 
  • One Community Bank is currently accepting applications for its 2024 Scholarship Program! This program offers $1,000 scholarships to three graduating high school seniors. This scholarship program aligns with One Community Bank’s commitment of investing in our communities. The application deadline is April 20, 2024, and selected recipients of the scholarships will be contacted during the week of May 28, 2024.   • Wisconsin Garden Club Federation (WGCF) scholarship. $1,000  Scholarship with application due Wednesday, April 17th. The purpose of our scholarship is to advance a graduating high school student’s pursuit toward a college degree in a horticulture-related field of study, such as, landscape design, botany, conservation, forestry, or environmental studies.
